SINGLE AND TWO SPEED ASYNCHRONOUS THREE-PHASE STANDARD MOTORS

E.M.G. single and two speed asynchronous threephase standard motors are noiseless, reliable, strong and versatile. The single speed motors are available from MEC 56 to MEC 180 sizes for standardized power from 0.06kW to 37kW. For the two speed motors the winding can be single or double. For the available dimensions and powers of the two speed motors, please refer to the relevant electrical data tables. The speed selection can be changed in many ways following the requests of the costumer. The single speed asynchronous threephase
standard motors are divided in T2, T4, T6, T8 series. The two speed asynchronous three-phase standard motors are divided in T2/4, T4/8, T4/6 series. The meaning of the symbols is the following:
 

T = Three-phase Series;
Y =  2, 4, 6, 8: number of poles for single speed
Y = 2/4, 4/8, 4/6: number of poles for two speed
